Whenever someone asks, “what’s your favorite type of photo shoot?” I always think of senior portraits first.
They’re always a little shy in front of the camera at the beginning, but as we get a little more comfortable throughout the session, I get to watch them BLOSSOM before my very eyes.
As I take on the role of hype woman and cheerleader, their confidence just shines in their photos.
This is what really brings me the most satisfaction: helping these young girls realize how beautiful they really are, then leaving the shoot with a new perspective on their image.
The best part is that it doesn’t end when the session concludes.
They now have these pictures forever and will always remember that exciting era before college or before adult life, when the future was full of possibilities.
