Do you know what the worst word is that you can say to a photographer? Normally, itās the word ājustā. No matter which genre youāre in, weddings, families, seniors, newborns, etc, the word ājustā often seems to diminish the perceived effort required to fulfill clientsā wishes. Although, it is very rare that the amount of effort required is actually any more minimal than the norm.
Weāve been trained, by the English language, to shy away from ājustā because it has a negative connotation of being āless thanā, but in the last year Iāve started noticing that ājustā is often peopleās way of saying they want something Simple and minimalistic, yet still special for their baby. They still want the thought and the care that goes into making beautiful images, and that thought and care is something I would never operate without.
With all of that said, I have been building a new newborn session option called Simply Baby! This option will be monochromatic and minimalistic, with extra focus on capturing those up close details.

Iāll still be offering my normal sessions, with thoughtful, customized, and personalized styling, with unique sets and handmade outfits and accessories, so have no fear.
If youāre pregnant, or just had a baby, and want to know more details and book a session, contact me. I book by due date, and session dates are chosen after baby is born, so you are free to (and encouraged to) book before baby is born.
