Here we GROW again!
Omni Productions is hiring a full-time Production Operations & Equipment Specialist in Orlando. This is an in-person (not remote) role.
We’re looking for a rare breed of production human:
Someone who can help shoot a production yet gets satisfaction from perfectly coiled over/under cables, labeled cases, organized shelves, and batteries that are actually charged when needed.
If phrases like:
• “Who took the SDI adapter?”
• “Why is this cable in the wrong bin?”
• “Did this Pelican case always live here?”
cause you mild emotional distress… you may be our person.
This hybrid role includes:
• Technical and/or creative roles on shoots & live events
• Managing production equipment and inventory
• Helping organize studio and operational spaces
• Helping implement a new barcode asset tracking system
• Occasionally saving the day because you noticed the problem before anyone else did
Backgrounds may include:
• Video Production
• Live events
• AV rentals
• Broadcast
• Freelance production
• Technical operations
Useful production skills may include camera, audio, editing, streaming, projection, live sound, writing, producing or production support.
This is NOT an entry-level role. No disrespect - we love newbies. But not for this role. We need someone who has been through a number of production rodeos!
The ideal candidate should be experienced, collaborative, technically capable, highly organized, and calm under pressure.
Basically: someone who understands that successful productions start long before the cameras roll.
