I woke up today with gratitude in my heart, giving thanks to God because without Him, I would not have opened my eyes this morning. He gave me another day. That alone is mercy.
I don’t stand on my own strength. I don’t say “I believe in myself,” because I know who I am without Him. I am human. I am limited. I am nothing apart from His grace. I go to God, and I trust God, because He is my life, my covering, and my everything.
He gave me breath. He gave me this new morning. He gave me creativity. He gave me favor before people. He gave me this beautiful calling and this career I love. Every gift I hold, every door that has opened, every bit of light in my story it all comes from Him. I owe Him my life, and I dedicate my life back to Him.
There will never be enough mornings, enough years, enough words to thank Him for so much love.
So today I want to say it out loud, with all my heart:
Jesus Christ is the Son of God. He is my Savior. He is my Lord. He is everything to me.
Without Him, I would be nothing. I would not have woken up today. With Him, I have more than I could ever deserve.
And if you are reading this and you feel empty, tired, or far away. He is still calling you. Salvation is a gift. It is not earned. It is received.
“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.” John 3:16
If you have never given your heart to Jesus, you can do it today. Talk to Him. Tell Him you believe. Ask Him to be the Lord of your life. He is near. He is faithful. He saves.
