👋Hi! Hi! We’re Sabrina & Derrick, an Oregon based adventure travel couple.

We're Sabrina & Derrick
🚐Van Life | Hikes | PNW + More ✈️
Check out our blog & YouTube Channel ▶️n.derrick We met over 6 years ago and instantly connected with our passion for new adventures. We were both born in the great state of Oregon and have met through our occupation. Our first date was to Smith Rock State Park and that is where our story began. We instantly connected, not only with our desire for the outdoors, but for astronomy, history, and adventures. Throughout the years we have been asked many questions about our travels. Now, we are making it our goal to help other travelers from all around the world by providing informative tips and guides to plan their next trip, stress-free. Sabrina - Photographer & photo/Video Editor

I was born in Oregon but grew up in many different states, mainly being New York and Florida. Throughout my childhood, the constant change of scenery made me have a greater appreciation for this planet. I’m so lucky to have found my other half to share the same passion and desire for adventuring this world like I do. Traveling has always been apart of my life. Living in many states across the U.S., I have met lots of people and have experienced different cultures. I have grown up with an outdoorsy family who loves dirt biking, hiking, water sports, and much more. Also, with my background as well as my parents, working for the airlines, traveling I guess you can say, is in my blood. Derrick - Videographer & Blogger

Traveling for me, has always been a dream rather than a reality. Growing up, I was programmed into thinking life was nothing more than a 9-5. I’ve worked for so many different companies and haven’t felt that sense of accomplishment. The outdoors has always been apart of my childhood and is still a great passion of mine today. I’ve recently discovered what is truly possible when you breakout of your mold and pursue your passion. I am truly grateful for finding that special someone to travel with and experience new adventures that are out of our comfort zone. This world is remarkable and it has so much to offer. I’m looking forward to filling my future with new places and everlasting memories. Welcome to Sabrina n Derrick

Happy Travels!

Oregon Coast towns for your first trip pt.2 🌊

This part of the coast is easy to rush through, but we’d make time for all five stops. Tillamook is a little inland, and the rest take you from a tiny hillside town to big beaches, dunes, and a downtown right beside the ocean.🏘️

Which of these would you want to spend the most time in?🚙

Fall in Oregon 🍂

We’ve lived here for years, and this season still makes us want to get out and explore more of the state. The colors look different everywhere we go, especially against all the evergreens.🌲

Where’s your favorite place to go in Oregon during the fall?🍁

We’re taking you from 800 feet above the Pacific down to the waves below! There’s so much to see around Cape Perpetua, and we’re excited to show you what we explored.

Driving the Olympic Peninsula 🌲

It’s one of the most beautiful places we’ve explored in the PNW. The scenery changes from forest to mountains to coastline, and there’s so much to see beyond the main stops.🐿️

Have you been to the Olympic Peninsula, or is it still on your list?🚘

The Southwest, through our camera roll 📸

This was our first time visiting, and the landscape took us by surprise. We’re used to the PNW, green forests, tall trees, and mountains that look nothing like these. Utah’s colors, rock formations, and sheer scale felt so different from home.

Have you been to Utah? What was your favorite place?🏜️

Oregon Coast towns for your first trip, part 1 🌊

We’ve spent a lot of time on this stretch of coast, and these are five towns we’d take someone to on their first visit. Astoria’s riverfront, the beach at Fort Stevens, Seaside’s Prom, Haystack Rock, and Rockaway’s quieter pace each give you a different reason to stop.🦀

Which town would you want to visit first?🤔

Our exact one week Southwest road trip route 🏜️

Day 1: Valley of Fire State Park
Day 2: Zion National Park
Day 3: Bryce Canyon National Park
Day 4: Capitol Reef area
Day 5: Canyonlands National Park
Day 6: Arches National Park
Day 7: Drive home

We saw Nevada’s Valley of Fire and all five of Utah’s national parks in one week. It was a lot, and we’d give ourselves more time at Zion if we did it again. But this trip let us see how different each park feels and helped us figure out where we want to return🚘

Would you do this route, or spend more time in fewer parks?

Save it for your own Southwest road trip!📍

But if you like wildlife, jungle waterfalls, beaches, adventure, incredible food, and some of the friendliest people we’ve met while traveling, it might deserve a spot on your list. 🌴

We only scratched the surface during our trip, and there are still so many places we didn’t get to see. If anything, this trip just gave us even more reasons to come back, especially to spend more time exploring the beaches and other parts of the country.🇨🇷
