Say hello to David, the man that doesn’t give up. 💪🏽 David started the haunt in 1999 as a setup in his yard, and it has continued to grow over the years to what it is today! A lot of props are made by David, and let us be the first to tell you that the doll collection is his… and we can even consider all the costumes in the costume room a collection.

He might be in love with gore and all things spooky and gross (including the live bug in his mouth for this photo that made us all squeal), but he’s a teddy bear on the inside! Thanks for using your creativity and love for horror to bring so much joy to the people of Del Norte County, David!

Say hello to Jo’Ann and her kids Annabelle and Vincent! 😊 Jo’Ann is David’s other half, and one of the masterminds behind David’s Haunted Manor! Without her, we wouldn’t be able to pull off the amazing haunt we have this year. 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 Cheers to Jo’Ann for keeping us in line! 😈
Next time you see her, in this makeup or not, give her a big “thanks”! She tries so hard to ensure everyone is included, from ensuring a wheelchair can go through the haunt to having the sensory walkthrough available each night. ❤️
