Bitty has been adopted! πŸ’œπŸ’œπŸ’œ

Bitty walked into her photo session and immediately began supervising it. She started as the tiniest kitten in the litter and has since fully leaned into her role as the one in charge. Nobody argues with her about it.

Rescued when her family lost their home, her mama was adopted a couple weeks ago β€” and now this ten-week-old boss is ready to take over a home of her own.

Photographing Sox was a full cardiovascular experience. This kitten does not stop.

Sox is the self-appointed entertainment committee of his litter, and he takes the role extremely seriously. Rescued when his family lost their home, he hit the ground running in foster care and has not paused since. His mama was adopted a couple weeks back β€” and now this ten-week-old party animal is ready to bring all that energy to a home of his very own. πŸŽ‰

I have photographed a lot of kittens. Einstein's hair is truly in a category of its own.

This funny, sweet nine-week-old earned his name honestly β€” big head, spectacular wild hair, and an endearing personality that makes you laugh and then immediately want to snuggle him. He came into rescue when his family lost their home and has charmed everyone in the building ever since. His mama was adopted just last Friday. Now it's Einstein's turn to find a family who appreciates both his intellect and his incredible hair. πŸ˜„

Jinx was not immediately sure about me. That's fair β€” I did show up with a camera. She never warmed up to modeling, but she tolerated some skritches.

This shy nine-week-old came into rescue when her family lost their home, and she's still figuring out who to trust around people. Around other cats, though, she completely opens up. Her mama was adopted just last Friday, and now Jinx is ready to find her own patient, gentle person β€” someone who will let her come to them and be richly rewarded for it.

Photographing Sabrina mostly meant photographing whatever she had most recently climbed on, wedged herself into, or pressed her nose against. She was everywhere, all at once, and completely delighted about it.

This two-month-old black kitten was found outside near a highway β€” possibly tumbled from a passing car β€” but her confidence suggests she has never once considered that a problem. She came in fully social and has been demanding love and attention at maximum intensity ever since. Her foster family calls her a stage 5 clinger. Having spent a session with her, I can confirm this is accurate and also extremely charming. πŸ’œ We’re OK Foundation

Nick was an absolute natural in front of my camera last week β€” the kind of cat who works every angle like he's done this a hundred times. Total pro. It's hard to believe he'd just been returned to foster care the day before, after his new family discovered an allergy. You'd never know it looking at him now.

This playful four-month-old tabby is all toys and affection, always ready for a game. He and sibling Jess are the last of their litter still looking for a home β€” two of their littermates have already been adopted. He does best with kids over 5 and a little patience with new feline housemates. Nick deserves a family who sees how easy he makes it to fall for him. πŸ’œ

Jess had zero interest in modeling for me. No toys, no treats, nothing could pull her attention away from exploring every corner of the studio β€” and honestly, I loved that about her. She's got a cool, independent streak that comes through the second you meet her.

This four-month-old tabby was returned to foster care the day before her photo session, after her new family discovered an allergy. She and her brother Nick are the last of their litter still looking for a home β€” two of her siblings have already been adopted. She does best with kids over 5 and a little patience with new feline housemates. Jess just needs someone who appreciates a cat who does things her own way. πŸ’œ

Chip took one look at the camera and decided a blanket burrow was a far better use of his time. We eventually reached a compromise. πŸ˜„

This 9-year-old Chihuahua-Pomeranian mix spent his whole life with one family before circumstances forced a painful goodbye. He came into foster care scared and uncertain β€” and has since become the guy who patrols the backyard and runs with the other dogs like he's always lived there.

Chip loves snuggling, burrowing, and a really good treat. He does best with kids 6+ and calmer dogs, and he's crate trained, leash trained, and car ready. Nine years in, this spunky little guy still has so much love to give. πŸ’œ We’re OK Foundation

Of the five wobbly kittens, Solan was the one who made my job easiest. He just… settled in. No fuss, no agenda, just a kitten being a kitten and letting the camera do its thing.

Solan is the smallest of the wobbly litter, and the least steady. In fact the spots on his face are from falling ON his face. Found in a trash bag with his four siblings and has taken the whole experience entirely in stride, if an unpredictable one. He has Cerebellar Hypoplasia β€” Wobbly Kitten Syndrome β€” which means a slightly unsteady gait and zero pain. Good with kids, dogs, and other cats, this easygoing little guy is genuinely just happy to be here.

Spay/neuter surgery has just occurred and he'll soon be ready for a home that matches his mellow energy. We’re OK Foundation

Talon watched me set up the camera with the kind of calm, measured patience that most people spend years trying to achieve. Then he just sat there and let me photograph him like it was no big deal at all.

This laid-back little kitten was found in a trash bag with four siblings and has since decided that a relaxed outlook is simply the way to go. He has Cerebellar Hypoplasia β€” Wobbly Kitten Syndrome β€” which gives him a slightly unsteady walk and causes absolutely no pain. While his siblings were busy roughhousing and holding court, Talon was just here, keeping his cool.

Just got fixed β€” keep an eye out for this one. We’re OK Foundation
