Common misconception about me, is that I am a posed photographer only. Oh I am quite the opposite. I refer to my style as hybrid. I blend both posed and lifestyle into my sessions.

In order to get this type of flow with me we discuss it before hand, and you must book at least a 30 min mini session. My petites are not designed to allow for this flow, though I still keep them as loose as I can.

I love that this Family decided to do their session at their home, and I was able to blend my style into this perfectly.

Plus I could have photographed this little one forever, that smile won me over.

Early mornings, hanging out on your porch with your kids, trust me this time flies faster than you think, and having photos like this really do help you remember those days.

I love that this family choose to do thier fall session last year in front of thier new Home!

Many people worry or are unsure how they will turn out. I always say embrace the chaos, and let your kids be themselves.

One thing about my style, as a Hybrid photographer, meaning I blend posed family shots with timeless and authentic documentation as well.

However, choosing the right session is where this comes into play. My petite sessions are not designed for this, I get what I can but they are short and sweet sessions.

Booking a Full 1 hour session is where this beauty comes into play. It gives us time to get that posed family shot in the begining, and then we play and explore.

The weather outside has been crazy, but the studio stays climate at all times! I was able to capture a repeat client of mine, and his 3yr old photos.

I love when I get the opportunity to shoot Extended Family Sessions!

Did you know I will actually travel out to a family gathering to do these. I have one this weekend in Indiana. The Family comes together and it is a perfect idea to hire me for the day to get their Family Photos.

If you don't know I was a Wedding Photographer for 10 years. I choose to stop shooting them, but those skills served me well for Large groups, and I find they are my jam!

I have photographed this large group before and I am glad I was able to update it for them.

Catching up on posting, I maybe spamming your feed this week. Sorry for the cuteness overload!

This was an in studio newborn mini, and little one slept perfect. I haven't been posting as many of my latest newborn sessions. I always ask permision before posting, I choose to respect client privacy.

However, I am happy to finally share this one!

The beauty of a Studio Session is that we can make it any vibe you want. However this vibe is my personal favorite. Just bring me your Family and let me document, not only is this a less stressful way to photograph a session, it is also in most cases the best way to coax your little one in the session.

Bring in their favorite toys, and document them in the stage of life they are in.
