For some reason, this post didn't show up on this business page feed when I originally shared it, even though the business was tagged. Facebook made some recent changes to the business pages and I am still figuring it out, so please bear with me. If you have seen it already well here's your reminder to go listen if you haven't yet! :)
Big News! 🎉 I was a guest on the Kitchen Notes podcast hosted by the phenomenal Meg Svec co-owner of Spilt Milk and Bakery Business Academy This was the first podcast I have ever been on!
I am so honored Meg chose me to be a guest. I was extremely nervous to start but she quickly made me feel comfortable and it was an incredible experience. We covered a wide range of topics and offered many tips on how bakeries, brands, and small businesses can use photography and social media in valuable ways to tell their story and grow their business. I also shared some of my photography journey and how I got started in brand photography.
In the podcast, I discuss how I started working with Spilt Milk after an Oak Park Eats article in 2018 and how my photojournalism background (which I learned at Columbia College Chicago ) helps me today. In the podcast I also mention some of my local favorites: Takeout 25 Oak Park , Metric Coffee , Poke Burrito Chicago , Oak Park Public Library
The day we recorded this podcast I was so excited and I shared the news with my 9-year-old, "Annabelle, I was on a podcast today!! Her response was "Cool. What's a podcast?" After I explained it a little she came up with this well-put summary: "so basically people around the world heard your conversation with your friend?"
So friends I would love it if you could take a listen to this conversation I had with my dear friend Meg and let me know what you think. If you enjoy it please share it with your friends, leave a review and check out other wonderful episodes of Kitchen Notes.

These are just a few photos I have taken for Spilt Milk over the years, some are mentioned in the podcast, so this is like my visual "show notes."
