There are several workers on the blue platform that is extended 325 feet above the the 100 year old Norwal River RR bridge with 4 parallel railroad tracks below.
They are removing the old high/tension electric cables, and then the towers themselves as the whole swing bridge is being replaced. $1B infrastructure, mostly Fed$
More than 100 trains a day get people from NY to Boston and all cities and towns in between, on Amtrak and MetroNorth trains.

Excellent evening of ( Pink Floyd ) cover band “The Machine” performing almost notefornote , plus sound effects at a sold out crowd at Westport’s outdoor Levitt Pavilion. 500 mostly gray-haired audience singing words.
