“Do you do this full time?”

They asked me this during their session, and I laughed because technically, no. But lately? It sure feels like it. 😂

And I’m really grateful for that.

This sweet family came to Utah and decided it was the perfect time to update their family photos while they were here.

We spent the evening in the mountains playing, laughing, chasing kids around, and sneaking in the posed photos somewhere in between. Basically exactly how I love family sessions to feel.

I’ve been photographing so many families lately, and every time I leave a session like this, I’m reminded how much I love getting to document people in the season they’re in right now.

Because the little guy celebrating another birthday? He won’t be this little for long. 🥹

It feels like it wasn’t that long ago that I was photographing this sweet family, and getting to photograph them again makes my heart so happy. 🥹

There’s something so special about seeing families grow through my lens. Meeting new clients will always be exciting, but having families come back and trust me with their memories again and again means more than I can put into words.

Knowing you’re just as excited to book with me as I am to photograph you is the best feeling. These aren’t just photos—they’re your memories, your keepsakes, little pieces of this season of life that you’ll get to hold onto forever.

Apparently my last introduction on here was in 2023… so I think we’re a little overdue 🤎

Hi, I’m the girl behind the camera ✨

A lot of life has happened in the last three years. I’ve grown, changed, learned a lot about myself, and somehow gotten even more sentimental about the little moments that make up a life.

Maybe that’s part of why I love what I do so much.

I get to photograph people right in the middle of their lives — the season they’re in now, the people they love, the tiny things that might not feel significant until one day they are.

And somewhere between documenting everyone else’s stories, I realized it was probably time to step in front of the camera and document a little bit of mine, too. 🤎

So hi again. I’m the girl behind the photos, and I’m really happy you’re here.

Here’s to growing up, becoming, and having the pictures to remember who we were along the way. ✨

Scouting a new photo location with Goldenly | Location Library & Client Toolkit for Photographers 📍📸

As a photographer, staying organized while location scouting is a must. I use Goldenly to keep all my scouting photos, notes, and location details organized in one place—so when I’m planning a session for a client (or saving a spot for a future one), I can easily come back to everything I need.

After I photograph a session there, I update the original scouting photo with images from the actual shoot. That way, clients can see what the location really looks like through my lens and get a better idea of what we can create there. ✨

Someone wrote in my wedding guest book,

“People spend a lifetime finding their forever.”

That sentence has stayed with me ever since 2021.

Every time I photograph a couple, I think about it.

Getting to witness and document a love that someone spent a lifetime finding is something I’ll never take for granted. Some feelings are impossible to put into words, but that’s why I have a camera. I hope you can see a little piece of their forever through these photos.
