So, I have two crops of the same photo and I really love them both. Every photo has a story and I feel like if I wrote a story for every photo I post, I probably wouldn't end up going to bed at all lol. But this photo is very special to me since I have only seen one or two photos that are similar where the eye is hiding either behind or through the wings as it is here. I have always wanted a shot like that and didn't think it was possible until after I got home from this photoshoot at Holland State Park. I didn't notice I got this shot until I looked at the back of the LCD screen on my camera! I love how nature, art, and creativity keep surprising me!

I have just been dealing with life stuff and mental health battles that I just kept putting off editing. I've been shooting, but not editing, which sometimes can be the least enjoyable part of the process for me. So, I will share them sets, And I'll save the best for last...
