💚 FROM THE SIDELINES TO THE FINALS! ⚽🏆

Last year, Sara watched from the sidelines as her teammates made their way to the championship game. Still recovering from ACL surgery, she could only watch, cheer, and wish she could be out there with them. Heartbreaking, to say the least.

This year, she was back. And she and her teammates were determined to make another run at the big show.

And they’ve done it! THE RAMS ARE HEADED BACK TO THE FINALS! 💚

I couldn’t be prouder of this entire team, especially the girls I’ve had the privilege of watching grow up playing this game. From those early youth soccer days to competing for a state championship. What an incredible journey!

But as I’ve said before, while I’m proud of every one of these players, there’s one player, one story, and one success that will always means much more to me.

Sara. #9. 💚

After everything she’s been through, seeing her back on that field, contributing to her team’s success, and getting the opportunity she missed last year means more to me than any final score ever could.

Congratulations, Sara, and the entire Raymond Rams! One more game. One more opportunity. Go get it, ladies! 💚⚽

💚⚽ RAMS ARE HEADED TO THE SEMIFINALS!

What a night! A hard-fought win against a tough opponent and an equally challenging officiating crew! 😅

As promised, I left the cameras aside and enjoyed the game with family and friends. But afterward, there were two photos I just had to capture.

First, my two favorite players. 💚

Sara, our #9. My favorite for obvious reasons, but also one heck of a center back. Smart, tough, determined, and fearless. After everything she’s overcome, watching her play this season has been incredibly special. She had one heck of a game today!!

And Lola, our freshman CB. What an impressive young player! These two clicked from the beginning and developed an incredible partnership on defense. I’m so grateful they had this season together. I’m really going to miss watching this pair!

Second, Coach Todd and Sara.

Tonight was the Rams’ final home game of the season and the seniors’ last game ever on this field.

Todd, thank you for believing in Sara, challenging her, encouraging her, and helping her grow. The positive impact you’ve had on this entire program is obvious throughout the community. We’re fortunate to have you.

Sara, love you and couldn’t be prouder! Todd, thank you for everything! And Lola, the future looks bright with you in the program! 💚

Win or lose, tonight will be her last game on this field. 💚⚽

Ten incredible years of soccer in this community. From a little girl learning the game to the strong, determined young woman she is today. So many memories, friendships, challenges, and moments I’ll never forget.

I couldn’t be prouder of Sara. Not just for the player she’s become, but for the resilience, heart, and determination she’s shown along the way.

It’s hard to believe we’re here. One last game on the field where so many memories were made.

Good luck tonight, #9. Enjoy every minute. I’m so proud to be your dad. 💚

🏆💚 CHAMPIONS! 💚🏆

A HUGE congratulations to the Raymond Middle School Lady Rams Soccer Team on their championship victory over Litchfield!

What a way to finish the season! Hard work, determination, teamwork, and a whole lot of heart brought these girls to the top!

From the battles on the field to the celebrations afterward, it was a pleasure capturing some of the action and excitement.

🏒 UP NEXT… HOCKEY SEASON! 📸

Time to trade the sidelines for the rink!

Hockey is one of my favorite sports to photograph, but it’s also one of the most challenging. Fast-paced action, unpredictable movement, terrible lighting, shooting through scratched-up glass, and players who rarely seem interested in staying in the frame. 😂

Between the speed of the game, the constantly changing direction of play, and the challenge of freezing the action in less-than-ideal lighting, hockey definitely keeps a photographer on their toes.

But that’s also what makes it so much fun. The intensity, the concentration, the split-second saves, and those moments you barely see with the naked eye.

Looking forward to another season of cold fingers, high ISOs, thousands of frames, and hopefully a few keepers along the way!

2026 — Senior Year. Full Circle. 💚⚽

And that brings us to the present day.

After everything Sara endured, I couldn’t be more grateful that she found the strength to push through the physical and mental challenges of recovery and make her way back onto the pitch.

I don’t think any of us, including Sara, really knew what to expect this season. We just knew she was strong, determined, and surrounded by people who believed in her.

She’s loved this game since she first stepped onto a soccer field at seven years old. And after watching her fight so hard to get back to something she loves, simply seeing her out there again has been a gift.

Today, the playoffs begin.

This team has the talent, the heart, and the opportunity to do something special. If they come together and truly play as a team, I believe they have a real shot at bringing home the prize.

But regardless of how this chapter ends, what a joy it’s been to watch.

Best of luck to Sara and all the Raymond Rams! Leave it all on the field, play for each other, and enjoy every moment.

2025 – The Hardest Season. 💚⚽

A torn ACL. Reconstructive surgery. Months of recovery, physical therapy, and rehabilitation.

But perhaps the hardest part wasn’t the surgery or the physical pain. It was watching from the sidelines, knowing how badly she wanted to be out there with her teammates.

She showed up anyway. To practices. To games. Supporting her team, cheering them on, and remaining as much a part of it as she possibly could.

There were difficult days, plenty of frustration, and undoubtedly some heartbreak. But through it all, she stayed positive, worked incredibly hard, and was surrounded by people who supported her every step of the way.

And eventually, after all those months of hard work, she made it back onto the pitch.

The hardest season. The longest road back. And a comeback worth every step.

“There’s only room for one #9.” 💚⚽

Somewhere along the way in middle school, playing for Raymond Soccer Club, Sara discovered her calling as a defender.

And judging by this photo, she took that responsibility pretty seriously. 😂

Apparently, defending wasn’t just about keeping the ball out of the net. It was about establishing territorial rights to the number on her jersey, too.

Some things never change. Same number. Same determination. Same intimidating stare.
