A little behind the lens

I’ve always been someone who finds it easy to see the beauty in things. In people, places, ordinary moments, and sometimes even in the harder seasons of life

I think that’s a big part of why I fell in love with photography.

I’m naturally curious, adventurous, and genuinely interested in people. Who they are, what makes them different, and the stories they carry…

When I’m behind the camera, I’m not chasing the perfect photograph.

I’m chasing the feeling.

Photos that stay with us aren’t always the most perfectly posed or beautifully composed. They’re the ones that make us FEEL something 🖤

That’s what I look for.

And when someone sees the images we’ve created together, my hope is that they recognize something beautiful in themselves. Not just how they look, but who they are

Whether we’re creating portraits, telling the story of your brand, or capturing a moment you never want to forget, I don’t want you to feel like you have to perform for my camera

I want to get to know you. To see what makes you, you. And to create something that feels like it belongs to you

Because to me photography has never been just about what you see

It’s about what you feel. 🤍

PHOTOS FOR A PURPOSE 🤍

Someone very close to a friend of mine is facing an incredibly difficult battle with cancer while also recovering and rehabilitating after a brain tumor.

Her family has started a GoFundMe to help ease some of the financial burden, and I kept thinking about what I could personally do to help.

Photography is what I have to give. So I’m using it. 🤍

I’m giving away a FREE BEACH PHOTO SESSION through Kuulei Photography.

To be entered:

🤍 Donate $10 or more to her GoFundMe
🤍 Send me a screenshot of your donation
🤍 You’ll be entered to win a complimentary beach photography session

Each donation of $10+ counts. Whether it’s $10, $20, $50 or more, every contribution helps this family navigate a season no family should have to face alone.

100% of your donation goes directly through their GoFundMe to the family. I’m simply donating the photography session as a way to encourage our community to rally around them.

If you aren’t able to donate, sharing the GoFundMe or this post can make a difference too 🤍

Give a little. Share a little. Help a family feel a whole lot of love. 🤍
