Hey there! I’m , the heart behind Olimb Photography! With the new website launch and rebrand I wanted to take a minute to reintroduce myself...let’s see if I can condense this down to a few short sentences!

I’m Cassie and I’ve been a photographer along the beautiful beaches of 30A for nearly two decades now. I’m in love with my green eyed mountain man and together we’re raising our two boys. Those boys are my world! A momma through infertility adoption and a surprise pregnancy I have seen first hand the provision, the hope, the peace and the joy found in the Lord and in trusting His plan and purposes for everything in my life.

A few years ago I took a little break from photography, quietly shifting my focus to where it was needed most: in my home with my family. Now, as seasons have shifted once again, I cannot wait to be on this next part of the journey with Olimb Photography and with my 2026 and 2027 brides and grooms!

Have you ever felt like you’ve outgrown something but haven’t quite figured out what you’ve grown into?

Over the years, I’ve struggled to find a real solid identity as a photographer. I primarily blame my own insecurities for that shortcoming. I’ve never had the confidence that I could get myself and my business to the goals that I had for it. I’ve never had that feeling of fulfillment, that I was proud of my own work. I always saw what was lacking, what could be.

In a way that lack of satisfaction drove me. But now, nearly two decades of photography later, what used to drive me, push me to become better and try new things has worn me down.

Why am I sharing this? Surely if you’ve read this far you’re thinking, why would I hire this sad insecure person. I’m sharing because, well, simply stated: that sad insecure person? I’ve outgrown her.

So! As this space changes, I wanted to bring you along. We can look back at the beginnings of Olimb Photography, revisit the highs, share the lows I kept hidden, and discover together, what Olimb Photography will become.

I confess, I neglect this space far too often. I trade the digital world for the real one every time. A few years ago something switched in me and I stopped capturing my day to day for social media. I stopped capturing it entirely. I was simply IN it.

The memories piled up in my heart but I wonder, when I’m 60, 70, 80 looking back, how much will those memories fade. So I picked up my camera again.

Finding a balance in maintaining an online presence and BEING present will forever be a growing experience for me. So if you ever look here and think “where did Cassie go?” just know that I’m all in over here with these three.
