All smiles. All fun. All love 😍

Family photographers consider autumn their “busy season” 🍁. Every year, September, October and November are SO crazy busy and it’s honestly such a blast. I am so happy to be back at it this year after missing out on “busy season” last year, while on maternity leave 🐣. It’s been amazing to reunite with families I’ve photographed before and meet tons of new families too! ✨📸

Can you believe that this session took place entirely in…the rain?! ☔️ Families always have the option to reschedule for rain, but this family said “let’s just go for it” 💪🏻. We had the most fun day 🫶🏼. If you look closely, you can see some tiny raindrops in a few of the photos. It’s very dreamy looking! And it proves we’ll truly make magic in any condition ✨🌟

I had such a blast at this cool shoot and am so grateful that Mom’s vision for her family session was: just us in our neighborhood! She wanted to celebrate her family’s real life and bop around to all their favorite spots! We basically walked 2-3 blocks, heading to their go-to bakery, Mexican restaurant, pizza place, and of course…bodega! It all felt so authentic to who they are, while being such a unique and beautiful approach to family photos 😍

Can’t think of a better way to celebrate mom and dad than getting the whole family together for precious photos at home 🏡🥹 (side note: I met this family for that adorable guy’s newborn shoot many many moons ago. We even did his cake smash together virtually (!!) during COVID. What a time 😄)
