TLDR: I love my husband.

Story time: I just finished a month in Philly working on a lovely production of Falsettos. As many of you know, Philly is my artistic home town. The place where I began to discover myself as an artist and as a human. I will love it forever.

I remember so vividly, all my years studying at UArts, blissfully focused on school/ work…all the while slowly, like an old SEPTA train, inching my way out of the closet. As I spent this last month walking around Philly. I vividly remembered all the times “early 20’s Billy” walked the same streets, having a grand old time, but also secretly wishing for a hand to hold. It’s a feeling that can gnaw at you.. especially for someone who didn’t quite know how to put himself out there in that way.

Cut to many years later. Peyton came down to Philly this week to celebrate opening night and our upcoming wedding anniversary. We spent the little free time we had walking the city (usually figuring out where to eat), walking hand in hand the whole time. Sometimes gabbing, sometimes quiet, sometimes conversing in random movie quotes, but holding hands the whole time.

Today we celebrate 11 years of marriage and 18 years together. There are a million reasons why I am grateful for Peyton. High on the list: he is always ready to hold my hand.

2024 was a busy theatre-making year which meant I had to take a step back from photography. But I was still lucky enough to shoot with some amazing folks. Send them some love!
