Specializing in newborn, baby, child & family photography, weddings, anniversaries, milestones & more. We are a husband and wife team, Joseph & Angela! We have four wonderful children. We definitely view the world differently and believe it or not it compliments us during our sessions. Even though Picture Perfect NY operates by appointment only, its our full time career. We run our business this way to ensure that each session or event is personal and one on one. When not photographing, Joseph is also a part time nurse and Angela is busy with the kids. Photography is not just a job, rather a passion that only builds stronger after every session or event. We always look for ways to improve and only make each session better than the last. We are proud members of PPA and are true believers in continuing education, learning by taking workshops and seminars so that we are up to date with the latest photography trend. Knowing from our own experiences, how children grow faster than we would like, being able to capture a moment from a newborn session, milestone session or just a day in the park is a moment that will be treasured for a lifetime and only being able to look back at it makes it that much more valuable… Priceless. 25 years ago, TODAY, I was a young EMT with Brooklyn College EMS — call sign 93J — activated to the World Trade Center. The first time I ever heard a 10-13 (emergency, help now) over the radio, it was that day. I never forgot it.
That moment quietly rerouted my life — toward EMS, toward nursing, and photography. The presence it takes to stay steady in someone else's hardest moment is the same presence I bring to every wedding, birth, and portrait at Picture Perfect NY.
A client recently gave me a WTC 25th Memorial card from the NYPD Detectives' Endowment Association. She understood — it was never about getting out of tickets. It's about what was, what is, and what will always be.
As I'm writing this, I am thinking about everyone who answered that call. Never forget. 🇺🇸
