Courtney came to the studio for some professional headshots for her medical residency application on Wednesday. I always like to shoot a few extra images that are a bit more "artsy", using my ultra-sexy 105mm f/1/4 portrait lens wide open to get that "sharp eyes, blurred background" look, as a bonus round of shots for my clients. Gabe Stillman is a renowned blues guitarist and singer-songwriter, best known for winning the Gibson Guitar Award at the 2019 International Blues Challenge. As a rising force in modern blues, he was also nominated for a 2022 Blues Music Award for "Best Emerging Artist Album" for his album Just Say The Word.
