I stopped by Plum Health Direct Primary Care to learn about Direct Primary Care and another option available to freelancers, creatives, and solo entrepreneurs.

Detroit creatives, this one is for you! 📱✨☕️

I had such an amazing time attending a Detroit Creative Community learning event Detroit Brewtiful Coffee House a Black-owned coffee shop in Detroit. Hosted by Detroit Finds | Detroit Influencer and Ariel Boston , this content creation workshop was all about learning how to highlight local businesses through intentional storytelling, social media content, creative angles, and the little details that make a space worth visiting.

And can we talk about Brew-ti-ful?! If you’re looking for a Black-owned coffee shop in Detroit, a cute Detroit café, or a spot to grab a drink and get some work done, add them to your list. I tried the lavender lemonade and it was SO good! 💜🍋

BREAKING THE GATE 📍 Michigan Central Station
Yes, it’s iconic. Yes, everyone shoots here. And YES, there are way more spots than just the classic shot in front of the building.
Michigan Central is one of my favorite Detroit locations when you want architecture + nature without having to travel between locations. The front gets all the attention, but some of my favorite spots are actually around the sides of the station 👀

🌿 Architecture + greenery
🌅 Gorgeous at golden hour

I’ve met some truly inspiring people while building You’re So Fancy Studio, and Nick from is absolutely one of them.

The work he creates is meaningful, powerful, and incredibly inspiring. When he agreed to partner with me on this project, I was beyond excited!!

This video captures so beautifully the sense of community I hoped to create and showcase through Shoot Your Shot. Seeing that vision come to life, surrounded by so many talented and amazing people who chose to show up and be part of it, means more to me than I can put into words.

I’ll forever be grateful to Nick for believing in this project, for sharing his talent with us, and to every single person who showed up and helped make Shoot Your Shot what it was. 🤍

This community is something really special.
