Puppy Power has been a fantastic wake up call that I’m actually an awful photographer bc 97% of the photos from our camping trip of her are wildly out of focus 😆
It’s beyond lame to blame the gear; but there’s a reason I rent a newer camera for paid work. AF cannot keep up on my ol’ girl compared to what’s out there these days.
Also sitting still is not a strong suit for the girl at all.

Swipe to see my favorite TYRI Off-Road Lights upgrade this autumn for our camping & exploring. The gift of sight throughout the evening’s chill space without a bunch of erratic independent headlamps blinding each other & still somehow tripping over things. Amber diffused is perfectly easy on the eyes & doesn’t attract the bugs like white lights do. You can still look up & see the stars with these.

Her name is Maple but I mostly call her PUPPY POWAH & MAPLEAPLEOPOLY.
She was 8.5 weeks when these were taken. I’m glad we kept the plans for this trip despite the chaotic energy that comes with a surprise puppy addition. Yesterday she turned 11 weeks and already looks so different. Shout out to Moose Man Dan for loaning her Mugo’s hoody. It was so perfect for her 🥺

From this past weekend’s post burn ban & final autumn camping trip. Jess has the puppy wrapped up in her coat as well as the big dawg on her lap. Bringing a solo stove to shove into the fire ring was an excellent choice.
