I’ve been quiet here for a while - I unexpectedly had to step away due to several very difficult situations in my personal life & have had no idea how to show up here.

But I’m working on returning and moving forward and having a great rest of the quarter & year 📸

Thank you sooo much to those who have checked in & have been understanding as I’ve worked through everything. It really means more than I can say.

A little re-introduction: I’m Alexa Vossler, a photoshoot director, producer, and brand photographer based in Denver, CO (but I also travel often!)

I specialize in planning and directing elevated brand shoots for businesses of all sizes, guiding every project from initial concept call through full production (if needed) to create imagery that feels refined, strategic, and deeply aligned.

This year, I’m also excited about dedicating more time to only a directing and producing role, with a focus on leading larger-scale brand shoots and partnering more deeply with businesses as a strategic creative partner.

There are a lot of exciting things in the works behind the scenes that I’m looking forward to sharing soon (planning for May!)

• On-site content creation for service-based businesses (iPhone and/or professional BTS imagery) (I can travel anywhere for this!)
• Quarterly content creation so you never have to worry about what to post next

• Location scouting & full shoot coordination
• Intensive, high-level brand shoot experiences

The other day someone followed me on Instagram, and when I clicked their profile, my jaw dropped. One of my client photos that I shot last year was being used as marketing content for this accounts marketing content.. whaaattttt?!

How did they even get it? Well, from Pinterest because I’d pinned it there a while back.

Here’s the thing though: Pinterest is *not a free stock photo site*. Every single photo you see on there belongs to a creator or brand. When you take the content and use it for your business, it’s actually copyright infringement⚠️That means you can face legal fines, content can be taken down, you can receive DMCA complaints, and more.

The good news? There are plenty of alternatives to screenshotting or downloading photos from Pinterest, Instagram, or Google:
- Use stock photo sites to pay for images to legally use them for business
- Hire a brand photographer for unique, branded photos of your business, services, team, products, etc.
- Create your own images

Let’s keep Pinterest for what it’s meant for: inspiration and moodboards. Your business deserves original, *legal*, scroll-stopping content, right?

I’m in Dallas for photoshoots and it’s about time to share a few of my favorites from my day with .frisco! We fit so much into the photoshoot day for website & social media content to showcase everything they offer at her MedSpa! A combo of things like: different treatment photos, headshots (with & without lasers/devices), product photos, team photos, client experience, consultation photos, and much more.

I’ve looooooved seeing all the ways Stormie has been using the images over the last few months. Working together with her was a 1000000/10 experience & *I* even got to be in a few photos (that I’ll share soon!!)

I can only fit 20 photos in this post so choosing favorites felt impossible (& WISH I could share all 130 here).

Brand photos round 2 with Sam at ! Check out his bingeable podcast called “Own Your Business” for the best business strategy, sales, & website advice out there!

I set up a portable on-site studio (with backdrop & lights) so we could maximize photo variety in addition to the lifestyle shots. We lost count of how many outfits we fit in (😂) and it was such a fun day. Couldn’t have done it without you !!
