Your wedding day will move fast. Like, really fast. 🤍

Between the first look, the ceremony, the tears, the toasts, the dancing — there's very little time to just *be* in your dress and soak in the moment.

That's exactly why I'm obsessed with bridal sessions.

It's just you. Your dress. No timeline pressure, no guests waiting, no photographer rushing you to the next shot. Just a full hour (or more) of feeling like the most beautiful version of yourself with nowhere else to be.

And the photos? They're different. Softer. More intentional. Because we had the time to actually make them that way.

Bonus: you'll also figure out how to move in your dress, how your veil catches the light, and how to work with your photographer before the highest-stakes day of your life. That confidence shows up in every single wedding photo afterward.

Okay I'm just going to say the things.

After photographing weddings for years here's what I wish couples knew before the big day:

Your first look isn't "ruining" the moment — it's actually creating more of them. Seeing each other privately means real, unguarded emotion before the adrenaline of the aisle kicks in. Some of my favorite images ever have come from first looks.

Bustle practice is not optional. The number of times I've watched a maid of honor frantically Google "how to bustle a dress" at the reception… please, practice before the day.

Getting-ready lighting is everything. A bright room with natural light = stunning detail shots. A dim hotel bathroom = doing our best and hoping for the best.

And lastly — eat. I know you're nervous. Eat anyway. A lightheaded bride or groom is not a fun plot twist for anyone. 😅

The best session locations aren't found on a Pinterest board — they're found in your story. 🌿

B+D brought me to the exact spot where they used to picnic together, where he got down on one knee and asked her to spend forever with him. And those trees? They hold meaning too — roots that run just as deep as theirs do.

When you choose a location that actually *means something*, the photos feel different. You're not just posing in a pretty place — you're standing in the middle of your own love story.

Here's the thing nobody tells you about your wedding day — it won't be perfect. And that's exactly why it will be yours. 🤍

The flower girl who refused to walk down the aisle.The vows that got a little too teary to finish. The rain that showed up uninvited. The grandma who cried through the whole ceremony. The moment your hands shook so badly you could barely get the ring on.

Those aren't the parts to forget. Those are the day.

Ten years from now, you won't remember the centerpieces. You'll remember the way he laughed when you stumbled over your words. The way she grabbed your hand a little tighter. The cousin who gave the most chaotic toast of all time. The perfectly imperfect, completely unrepeatable version of that day that belonged only to you two.

This is why I photograph the in-between moments as much as the posed ones. The nerves. The breath. The blur. The real.

Because your wedding day deserves to be remembered exactly as it happened — not just as you hoped it would. 📷

Some love stories don't announce themselves with fanfare. Some arrive quietly, steadily, wrapped in the kind of warmth that fills a room before you even notice it's there. ✨

This intimate church ceremony was everything. Small gathering. Soft light. And two people who walked in already knowing exactly what mattered to them.

What struck me most wasn't just how in love they were, it was how kind they were. Kind to each other. Kind to every single guest. They checked in, they remembered details, they made everyone feel seen. That kind of love? It photographs itself.
