Iāve seen a lot of conversations happening in the photography community lately about AI, childrenās images, and sharing our work online. Iāve thought about it, and I wanted to be transparent about where I stand.
Families are a big part of what I photograph, and I have decided I will not be removing all identifiable images of children from the Tiffany Moore Photography page.
I completely understand why some parents and photographers are choosing not to share their childrenās faces online, and I respect that decision completely, I always have. The capabilities of AI can be unsettling, and unfortunately, there will always be people who misuse technology and images in ways they were never intended to be used.
At the same time, sharing my work is a huge part of how I run my business. Families find me because they can see real sessions, real connections, real personalities, and the kind of memories I love to capture. My portfolio allows you to see what a newborn session, milestone session, cake smash, or family session with me actually looks and feels like.
What will never change is this: your consent matters more than my content.
If you do not want your childās images shared on my website or social media, just tell me. No explanation needed. No hurt feelings. No pressure. I will always respect that.
If youāre comfortable with me sharing some images but would prefer faceless or detail images where your child isnāt identifiable, Iām happy to do that too.
And if Iāve shared an image of your child in the past that you are no longer comfortable having online, please reach out to me. I will remove it.
These photographs belong to your memories first and my portfolio second. š¤
Iām going to continue photographing babies, toddlers, children, and families the way I always have. Documenting their little faces, personalities, milestones, and all the things you never want to forget.
And Iām going to continue sharing that work with permission.
There may not be a perfect answer for navigating technology that is changing this quickly. For me, this is what feels right for my business while still giving every family complete control over whether their images are shared.
Your babies. Your memories. Your choice. Always. š¤
