I am still going through my Lunar Eclipse images from yesterday but wanted to share an image I captured right as the moon was rising above this Sunflower field at in Monticello, MN. I reached out to Fresh Acres Farm to ask permission to be at the sunflower field after their normal visiting hours and they graciously said yes. I enjoyed photographing the lunar eclipse at the sunflower field.

38th Street Media even joined in the fun as well, can't wait to see what Shawn captured as well.

I took the day off work and enjoyed a quiet sunrise walk around the Normandale Japanese Garden. It turned into a beautiful morning, and I was able to capture a photograph of the sun peeking through the trees, creating a sun star. I really like how this image turned out—what are your thoughts.

Earlier this week I dropped off my image "Heron and the Moon" at for the Rejected Exhibit. I am excited to be a part of this exhibit again this year I always look forward to seeing all the amazing artwork that was rejected from the Minnesota State Fair Fine Arts Competition.
