This piece was created during a workshop with Holly Lund, and I loved having the opportunity to step outside of my normal workflow and immerse myself in the fine art process.

I don’t attend workshops to copy another artist’s work. I attend them to learn, grow, and bring new inspiration back into my own creative voice.

The light. The dress. The softness. The quiet little in-between moments.

I loved creating this studio field look because it has all the feeling of something dreamy and natural, but with the comfort and control of the studio.

No weather stress. No waiting on the perfect season. Just soft light, beautiful styling, and a mama photographed with intention.

Wanted the feeling of outdoors… without depending on the weather... Created entirely in studio in the early April dreariness.

After trying to coordinate schedules and unpredictable spring weather, she told me she was dreaming of something soft, warm, and outdoorsy for her maternity session 🤍

The beauty of studio work is that sometimes you can create the feeling without depending on the forecast.

I thought these dreamy images fitting because today I get to spend the day learning at a fine art workshop in the most beautiful studio space and honestly… I couldn’t be more excited or inspired by the direction my work has been heading lately.
