T. Merritt Photography was established in 2010 specializing in weddings and life style photography Planning photos can be stressful. I like to provide quality.

You have to find the perfect outfits for everyone, a photographer who fits your style, schedule a time that works for you and don’t forget the unruly weather that sometimes puts a damper on your plans. Then the morning of your session comes and your kids are being crazy yours shirts are wrinkled and you are thinking, “ Who’s idea was this again.” Don’t sweat it, this stuff happens. I have photographed the squirmiest kids, fussy babies, large crazy families. I have been in a middle of a sessions where the weather has turned from sunny to rainy in a split second. I’m sorry to say perfect moments will not last your entire session, they may only last a split second its my job to be sure to capture them. At T.Merritt Photography every session I do is important to me. Its my goal to provide a personal, memorable, experience to every client while providing quality photos, and exceptional client care. When it comes to my equipment and your moments. My cameras are all professional grade equipment. I have multiple lenses, lighting accessories, storage options and professional editing software programs. With quality being very important to me I also work with multiple printing labs that will provide beautiful treasured mementos and keepsakes that can be proudly displayed in your home and passed down to future generations. Sometimes all it takes is one dreamy session to remind you why you do what you do.

Lately, I’ve been in a little bit of a funk creatively but mostly mentally.

But this session? 🥹✨ It was the kind of beautiful, soul-filling session that reminded me that everything will be alright if i keep doing the things I love.It was exactly the reset I didn’t know I needed.

Thank you Willow for being so easy to work. Give the boys extra treats!

My favorite thing about yesterday’s wedding was the little moments the bride and groom created for themselves to slow down, enjoy being together.

Weddings are months, sometimes years, of planning. Then the day finally comes and somehow it goes by in a blur. Many times brides and grooms are pulled in a hundred different directions, and sometimes the actual moment gets lost.

I absolutely loved that Dakota and Brielle planned a private last dance. They took a walk through their venue, just the two of them, and had those three minutes to simply enjoy being married and take it all in.

Those quiet moments may only last a few seconds but they will be remembered for a life time
