You have to find the perfect outfits for everyone, a photographer who fits your style, schedule a time that works for you and don’t forget the unruly weather that sometimes puts a damper on your plans. Then the morning of your session comes and your kids are being crazy yours shirts are wrinkled and you are thinking, “ Who’s idea was this again.” Don’t sweat it, this stuff happens. I have photogra

phed the squirmiest kids, fussy babies, large crazy families. I have been in a middle of a sessions where the weather has turned from sunny to rainy in a split second. I’m sorry to say perfect moments will not last your entire session, they may only last a split second its my job to be sure to capture them. At T.Merritt Photography every session I do is important to me. Its my goal to provide a personal, memorable, experience to every client while providing quality photos, and exceptional client care. When it comes to my equipment and your moments. My cameras are all professional grade equipment. I have multiple lenses, lighting accessories, storage options and professional editing software programs. With quality being very important to me I also work with multiple printing labs that will provide beautiful treasured mementos and keepsakes that can be proudly displayed in your home and passed down to future generations. But I don’t just stop at equipment I love looking for new props, outfits and other items that help enhance your sessions. So if you have an idea reach out to me together we can plan something great. I love a wedding. I love the vibe they bring, the beauty, the people, the excitement, and honestly, the pace of the entire day.

As a photographer, I love the chaos of a wedding. I love constantly looking around, searching for the emotions, the little moments, and the things happening in the background that others might not even notice. Sometimes it’s a quick glance, a reaction, a laugh, or a moment between two people that lasts only a second but those are the moments I’m looking for.

For Brian and Ashlea’s wedding, it was no different. But my absolute favorite part was watching Brian and Ashlea’s kids. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a group of kids so genuinely excited about their families coming together. Their excitement was contagious, and honestly, that’s what made yesterday perfect.

The best part of my job, by far, is the people I get to meet especially the ones who treat you like family from the very beginning. 🤍

I loved everything about this small, intimate wedding. Stephanie knew exactly what she wanted: candids. And honestly, that’s what I loved most too. No forced moments, no posing for the sake of posing, just real laughter, and little moments that happen naturally throughout the day.

So grateful I got to be there to capture it all. 🤍📸

But the absolute best thing is when you can pick right back up and talk like no time has passed. Those are the friendships I'm truly grateful for. ❤️
