Abigail and Joel were married on July 10 at The Promise Farm. 🤍 From the heartfelt moments throughout the day to the joy-filled celebration that followed, their wedding was a beautiful reflection of their love for each other and their shared faith.
The two first met while attending college in Ohio, and it was so special to see them begin this next chapter together. Abigail chose soft light green floor-length dresses for her bridesmaids, while Joel and his groomsmen looked sharp in light tan suits, a perfect color palette for a summer wedding. 🌿
Although Abigail and Joel chose not to see each other before the ceremony, they shared a beautiful “first touch.” Standing back-to-back, they exchanged letters and gifts, prayed together, and took a few quiet moments to connect before walking down the aisle. It was such a meaningful alternative to a traditional first look.
Their ceremony was filled with meaningful moments, including the couple reading their own personal vows. They also took part in a three-strand cord ceremony, braiding together three cords to symbolize God being the center of their relationship. Based on the verse from Ecclesiastes 4:12, the three strands represent the bride, the groom, and God - reminding them that a marriage centered on Him is stronger together.
The celebration continued with heartfelt toasts, worship music, dinner, dancing, and so much joy. As the evening came to a close, family and friends lined up with sparklers to send the newlyweds off in the sweetest way. 🥰
Abigail and Joel, thank you for trusting me to capture such an important day in your lives. It was an honor to witness the love you share and the faith that is the foundation of your marriage. Wishing you both a lifetime filled with love, joy, and God’s blessings.
