Snow day!!

Last week I took a ride to Gettysburg, PA and walked around downtown. I got some pictures of historic buildings from the civil war era. The Dobbin House, Jennie Wade House, The Welty House, Shriver House and the Farnsworth House. They are shooting a movie down there while we were there so the stuff in front of the Shriver House was from the scenes they shot over the weekend.

The last set of pictures are from The Calving Corner. Meet Liberty (the first calf pictured and looks wet). She was born while I was at the farm show to momma Donna from the .

The last couple pictures are calves from (Marty and Moolissa)

Watching the calving was a great experience and they were so cute! There were a total of 18 calves born from 4 farms. There were 2 sets of twins born this week a set of girls and a boy and girl.

Of course if you go to the PA Farm Show you need to check out the butter sculpture carved from 1,000 pounds of non-food grade scrap butter just for the farm show.

This week there was also a mullet contest and I found this cute little boy getting ready for the contest while I was walking around.

Some of the other things I saw was a Kiss-A-Cow booth that held which looked like a lot of fun and goat snuggling from

Last week was Farm Show week here in Central PA. One of the things I had so much fun photographing at the farm show was in the butterfly hands-on experience. There were so many butterflies flying around and landing on everyone. I had so much fun watching and taking photos of people with lots of butterflies on them. did an amazing job with this exhibit!

Trying to catch up on some older photos I haven’t posted yet. These are from Kipona Festival. The dock dogs were so fun to watch and boy can they jump!!

Watching the kids play with the bubbles from Grandpop Bubbles was so much fun. Their faces with the big bubbles were priceless!

For the Student Honors Photography show at school this fall I submitted 6 photographs to see if any would get put in the show. There were 60 photos featured in the show and three of them were mine. Here is the 3rd one that was chosen.

This photo was taken at one of the local Friday night football games.
