Bringing a vision to life is all about the balance between the gear and the grind. Here is the breakdown of how we captured this look on the Sony A7IV.
The Technicals:
• Profile: SLOG 3 (for that maximum dynamic range)
• Resolution: 4K 60FPS (buttery smooth slow-mo) in post
• Shutter: 1/125 (keeping that 180-degree rule)
• Aperture: f/4.0
• ISO: 3200 (pushing the sensor while keeping it clean)
• Filter: ND 64
• White Balance: AWB
I’m loving how the A7IV handles the shadows even at a higher ISO. It’s all about getting the right exposure in-camera to make the grade pop later.
