Turkey Foot

I first ran across this guy 4 years ago. He was broken up on the right side and had an injury to his right eye. His left side reminded me of a turkey track, so I named him Turkey Foot, locals call him Gunner, and he's the proclaimed "King of the Cove". Fast forward to 2022 I knew I had to find him, he wasn't hard to miss, and had gotten bigger. Unfortunately I believe he peaked in 2023 as the biggest 8 point I've ever personally laid eyes on. It took me a couple times but I found him again today. Each year I wondered what he would be the next, unfortunately, the King lost alot of size in 2024. I'm afraid his best years are behind him now and I can only hope Turkey Foot will make it through and be there to greet me one more time next fall. Until next year big guy.
