There has been so much shooting, editing, and storytelling happening over at SSP lately, but as of this morning, all of last weekend’s Wilson Farm sessions have officially been delivered!
One of the sweetest parts of this season has been seeing so many familiar faces in front of my camera. Some of these families began as brides and grooms over 10 years ago, and year after year, they continue to invite me back to document the beautiful lives they are building.
More than anything, I’m feeling incredibly thankful. Thankful for the relationships that have grown alongside these families and for the privilege of continuing to tell their stories, year after year.
This is the heart of why I do what I do. And I never want to take it for granted.

Kayla and Paul pledged forever in the middle of hurricane rains on 10/10. The sideways rains kept us inside on the wedding day in the beautiful new building at Something Blue Mountain Venue, but for these Florida natives- the invitation back on Tuesday of that week was exactly what drew them to the beauty of this venue. I can't believe this gem is just 15 minutes from my house. How blessed are we to live in these beautiful mountains, and to have the perfect rain plan if things go hurricane on your wedding day.

Just when I thought I had explored every inch of the biltmore grounds, Weston planned his proposal in a new place for me- the bass pond. What a gift to watch him ask Alex to marry him. And the thing that gave me a tear in my eye? I've photographed stubborn- not going to smile- Weston for over a decade. He said to me "see how easy it is for me to smile? She gave me smile." Congratulations to these two. .

I'm still on cloud nine after this cloudy Biltmore wedding day. There’s an old Irish saying, “A wet knot is a knot not easily untied.” The rain may have fallen, but it only seemed to make the day feel more sacred—the mist settling over Biltmore, the quiet romance in the air, and two people stepping into the life God has so beautifully prepared for them.
What a beautiful beginning to a lifetime together. Congratulations Kevin and Erin!
