🍁 One of the best things about fall? All that gorgeous color!

A beautiful setting can add so much to a portrait. The warm colors, interesting textures, and light filtering through the leaves create a look you just can't get at other times of the year.

🏐 Good luck tonight, Drew!! 🔥 Your last first playoff game is always one to remember!

We worked to get the light just right for this one during Drew's Senior Portrait session, and I love how the dramatic lighting brings out the details, but still keeps some of the mystery.

Now it's time to take that intensity to the court. Go get 'em, Drew! 🏐

OMG, I just realized I never posted these! 😂

I was at one of the first La Follette football games earlier this season and got to watch the Lancer Dancers do their thing! I worked with the team on their senior banners this summer, and I couldn't resist grabbing a few fun shots while they were performing! So fun to see them (and see the banners hanging up)! ❤️

**From vision to reality.**

Sometimes a team doesn't need to know exactly what they want. They just need to trust the person creating it.

When we talked about this year's La Follette Girls Swim poster, the team wanted to have some input into the design, but they didn't have a specific concept in mind. So I shared what I was envisioning, and they trusted me and said, "Go for it!"

And I had SO much fun with this one.

La Follette may not be the biggest swim team around, but they have a TON of personality, and their photo sessions are always some of the most fun. I wanted this poster to feel like them — something unique, a little dramatic, and with some personality.

One thing I knew I wanted to incorporate was La Follette's brand-new school logo. That giant L became the centerpiece, with the swimmers and water built around it.

And that pool? Yup, that's THEIR pool. It just never looked quite like that before. 😉

They brought the personality. I brought the vision. And the result? One of my favorite team posters EVER.
