The Yahara Journal is published for students, by students. We accept submissions yearly to be considered for publication, as well as hold fun events. Keep your eyes peeled!

Join us for the 2022 Yahara Journal Book release!!! Come celebrate and support your fellow Madison College creatives this Friday, April 29th from noon to 1pm in the Intercultural Exchange - Truax Campus (C1430). Before you set off for Spring Break, get your submissions in! It's the last weekend to submit your entries for the Yahara Journal contests. We’re awarding $50 for first place, $25 for second place and $10 for third place in all three categories.

You can enter online at https://students.madisoncollege.edu/yahara-journal-submissions. Deadline for the Photography, Art, and Poetry & Prose YJ contests is Monday, March 14th.

Students can submit up to 5 items at madisoncollege.edu/yahara-journal-submissions.
Submissions no longer than 10 pages, double-spaced. Artwork can be submitted as a .jpg, .png, or .psd file. If your file size is over 2MB, email it to [email protected]
