When the big day finally hits. 🎓
All the congratulations to this season of graduates — but this one is extra special.
I met Alex when he was just an 8th grader, then had the privilege of being his school counselor through four long, unforgettable years of high school. His class was part of the high school COVID era, and I’ll never forget him walking into my office and saying, “Finally… no more masks.”
That cohort will always hold a near and dear place in my heart.
Alex is also the one who once told me, “Ms. Stevens, chill… writing long, lengthy posts is what 40-year-old moms do.”
Turns out, it’s also what proud mentors do.
From high school, to college, to officially graduating today with a Bachelor of Science in Economics — what a spectacular journey it has been watching you grow and capturing the milestones along the way.
