I think one of the hardest things about watching our kids grow up is realizing that we never really know when something will be the last time.

The last time they ask to be picked up. The last time they reach for your hand without thinking twice. The last time they fit so perfectly in your arms...

And most of the time, we don't even realize those moments have passed until we look back.

It’s been THREE years since I’ve offered fall mini sessions, and if you’ve been around here for a while, you know just how rarely I do these!

But after so many of you asking, I decided it was finally time to bring them back. And I couldn’t think of a more beautiful place than the ruins at Castle Grove in Bedford, VA.

Because the truth is, life doesn’t slow down. Our babies keep growing, the years keep passing, and before we know it, the little moments we thought we’d always remember become the ones we wish we had more pictures of.

One of my favorite things about Anchor Church | Lynchburg, VA is the friendships we’ve made along the way. ❤️

Yesterday, I got to capture some precious memories for our sweet friends who are getting ready to welcome their baby girl in November!!

Watching our friends walk through such sweet seasons of life and getting to document a little piece of it for them is something I love so much. 🫶
