The 2026 LA County Fair is officially over and what a great surprise, thanks to my friend and model Miriam for this photo she took of our winning portrait at the fair, a 1st award ribbon and a Best Of Division rosette!😱

The portrait of Miriam is from our latest photoshoot we did earlier this year. Love working with her as she’s always down to do shoots whether it’s testing gear or simply getting together to shoot a bn look, this was the 47th time she stood before my camera and always pleased with the results we get, proof is here with a winning portrait at the fair

Congratulations goes to Miriam too because without her a winning shot would never happen😊👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

The theme was WHAT REMAINS highlighting what is left behind, abandoned and weathered remains, my photos were shot in Mexico visiting a cemetery where there is an abundance of subjects to photograph

I wake up everyday thanking God for the wonderful gift of life, today I am that much more grateful and blessed. I am blessed with a wonderful family and friends as well that make today that much more meaningful. Thank you God!

Experimenting with double exposure created in camera and never with AI. Great feature in a Canon camera reminding me of the film days where I’d hold press the release button at the bottom of the camera while advancing the film lever to expose the same frame twice. Shooting this in b&w in camera is a bonus too, now to print it

Took photos of framed prints on my wall and of a bouquet of roses on the table

Prayer Interrupted

Found this praying mantis in the home garden and I felt as if I was interrupting its "prayer" when it turned and gave me a look as if disrespecting its moment

Gotta love promo pieces that range from tshirts, ink pens stickers, buttons and now enamel metal pins for hats, backpacks or lanyards. Love the pins and are about the size of a quarter so it’s not overwhelmingly big. If you haven’t guessed by now and for those that know me yes my favorite color is yellow unlike the crayon everyone hated as a kid I always loved it!🤣

It’s sad to stand at the guardrail on the boardwalk and see the trash that people throw in the sea, unfortunately it makes for a good photo opportunity but hate the pollution it becomes, it’s not fair to the sea life and we are the worst destroyer of their habitat😔

I am all for portraits of animals and what better way to capture a beautiful jellyfish portrait while keeping dry🤣 Don’t know the name of this species and should have looked at the nameplate🫣 I’m thinking of printing this in a 13”x19” size for my portfolio but first need to head to to buy some ink
