Ahhh! I can’t believe this is my 7th year of doing photography full time. That seems so insane? When I was younger I never pictured what I wanted to be when I grew up. I mean I applied for college to study dental hygiene, switched majors before school even started. I’ve studied Psychology, Sociology, and Business in college on three seperate occasions but never graduated. Got into helping my bestie with her photography. In 2019 I officially decided I had “given the old college try” enough tries & dropped out to pursue photography full time. I really said send it. It’s been messy, rewarding, confusing, & magical all at the same time. I can’t believe y’all let me keep doing this! THANK U! I wouldn’t be doing this without you!

Jess & Marcus has some gorgeous lighting during our session in the fall. Looking at these & having these temps this weekend is really making me crave those warm sunsets again! My off season has been refreshing but this time of year is the quiet before the chaos… Where everything is still, but I can feel what’s coming. WEDDING SEASON 2026! I have 22 love stories waiting to be celebrated all across Nebraska.
This season feels different in the best way… more intentional, more meaningful, more inspired. I’m so ready to chase light & laughs with you all. Let’s freaking goooo!

Late night vulnerability post!

Oh you guys. Honestly I’m exhausted & have been a bit checked out. This year I’ve faced quite a few challenges with my mental health - there has been some really high highs and a lot of really low lows. Allowing myself to fully experience ALL of those emotions is something I’m not accustom to, I usually love to pretend everything is fine and slap a smile on my face. I’ve learned the importance of acknowledging those feelings while not letting them consume you. I’m so privileged to have (and I don’t say this lightly) the most understanding, loving, warm, kind, and gracious people in my corner. Thank you all for seeing me, loving me for exactly who I am, and meeting me where I’m at always. You all know who you are, I love you all eternally.

All that to say, I’m painfully aware how common feeling alone is. Please, I’m begging you. Don’t suffer alone. Don’t suffer in silence. Find your people, trust them, hold onto them for dear life, & learn to be uncomfortably vulnerable with them.

I’m a work in progress but I promise the work is happening. I am feeling a lot better & a lot happier & I’m so excited to see what this year brings.

Sami & Jose are the cutest, nicest, most giggly & smiley couple on the planet I think. It was so easy to be able to spend a fall afternoon with them at Elmwood Park. Truly getting to spend weekends with people like these two is why I love what I do because you all help make me so giggle and smiley. A lot of times when I’m going through photos or editing, I catch myself cheesing so hard because it’s just too perfect. Your time with me means more than just creating some magic moments, connecting with you is the best part!
