Let me introduce you to Foxy Foster and his amazing mama Wendy! I had the best time spending the evening with them and someone very special, Foster's birth mom, Corinna. She came for the weekend to visit, so they got all dressed up and took some incredible pictures together! These are two women with beautiful hearts and I was honored to photograph them all!

I love love love watching this little peanut grow up each year! I have been taking her photos since she was in mama's tummy and it was just the best spending time together taking her 3 YEAR PHOTOS! You are such a sweetie pie Evyanna! Love you!

God has truly blessed us with some pretty special neighbors! Meet the Leishman family! Chris and Jamie have three littles, the tiniest are a set of boy/girl twins (we love it) just like us! Lots of crazy shenanigans are happening on our side of the street! But this little family session was extra special... and this post comes at an extra special time. Jamie is a PPCM survivor (Peripartum Cardiomyopathy, which is a rare heart failure that happens near the end of pregnancy). She had to be on the heart transplant list, and ended up having an LVAD pump put in. By the grace of God her heart has healed! I can't even imagine what this has been like for her and her family with a toddler and newborn twins. But in the last couple of weeks a team of doctors decided her heart is strong enough to shut the LVAD off and remove the cord-- and today is the day! Keep Jamie and Chris in your prayers as she's in the hospital and away from her precious babies! God is with you Jamie!

The very first time I "posed" someone for a portrait was in 2001 right after I met Kevin and Laurie Sagehorn. Josh was a baby and I had just started my first photography class at Concordia. I needed a model... he was perfect. I propped him up in a little basket and snapped his picture on film with an old loaner camera.

A few weeks ago I got to pose him for his senior portraits... what an awesome turn of events! You've grown up into a fine young man Josh! God's blessings on your final year of high school and beyond!

Meet Laney, a senior with a beautiful vision for her senior portraits! She knew exactly what she wanted, and we nailed it. She has a passion for animals unlike any I've seen, and it was so fun to capture through the lens. I've done a lot of sessions with horses, but this was the first in the water... it was such hard work for Laney, but well worth it! You are gorgeous inside and out!
