Watson&Co. opened Friday night's show at the Reverb Lounge in Omaha! It was my first time checking these guys out! Personally, for me, the highlight of their set was an amazing cover of The Cure's Burn song from The Crow soundtrack! Much respect for any group that does a tribute to Brandon Lee and The Crow!

Friday night, I attended Gothicon! I had a great time visiting with people and making some new friends. I will also admit that I'm not a great "event photographer," part of why I won't do weddings. Coming from being a concert/roller derby photographer to doing these kinds of events (cons and conventions...my day job is convention planning) is a challenge. A fun challenge. To those that let me take your photo...thank you so much. No one said no, but I also didn't get around to asking everyone who was there.

Last night I had the privilege of photographing the final KZUM Stransky Park Concert Series of the 2026 season. Womanish Girl was the featured artist for this show. Guitarist and vocalist Katy Guillen and drummer Stephanie Williams. This was my first time seeing them perform, but they have been to the Zoo Bar a number of times and will be back in December! The show was very well attended. Thank you, KZUM, for continuing this wonderful tradition of the Stransky Park concerts! I look forward to next year!
