Featured Wedding | Kat & Chase at The Leo Ballroom ☔️
August 8th brought Kat & Chase a wedding day that looked a little different than anyone expected.
It rained. And then it rained some more.
An unexpected downpour all day long might not have been part of the original plan, but somehow, it made the day feel even more like theirs.
All jokes aside, I don’t think I could have imagined a better day for two of my favorite people. The weather did its thing, we rolled with it, and somehow the rain just became another part of the story.
There’s an old saying that rain on your wedding day is a sign of abundance, and I think there’s something pretty fitting about that for these two. Their day was full in all the best ways — full of people who love them, a packed dance floor, a lot of laughter, and so much genuine happiness.
And selfishly, getting to photograph this one meant a little more to me than usual. Kat & Chase are people I’m lucky enough to call close friends, so being trusted to document the day they officially became husband and wife was a pretty special honor. 🤍
