There’s something strangely beautiful about plans falling apart in the exact place a memory begins.

they drove up from texas for a night they’d been looking forward to for months, only for the evening to shift into something entirely different than what they expected.

but standing in the middle of these gardens with them, it felt impossible to call the night ruined.

because sometimes the story changes, and somehow the memory becomes more meaningful for it.

that’s what i love most about photography, preserving the feeling of a moment before life moves through it and turns it into something else entirely.💞📸

Love is not only

It exists
in the upside down of things—
in the missed chance
that teaches you tenderness,
in the ache
that proves you are still open,
still reaching.

Not just in what we long for,
not just in what we choose,
but in what simply is.

In small mercies.
In ordinary seconds.
In the unnoticed,
unclaimed,
uncelebrated moments
that stitch a life together.

Love is everywhere—
not hidden,
just quiet.

And maybe
it has always been less about
where it lives,
and more about
how willing we are
to see it.
