📸 A little common courtesy when booking with a photographer.
Just a friendly reminder that there is a real person behind every photography business. 🤍
When you reach out about a session, photographers often spend time responding to messages, answering questions, discussing ideas, checking availability, creating a plan, recommending locations, discussing outfits, and sometimes even holding a date for you.
If you’re genuinely interested in booking, we are more than happy to take the time to plan everything with you! ✨
But please remember that **our time is valuable too.** If you’re just curious, unsure, or not actually planning to book, that’s completely okay — just be upfront about it.
The biggest courtesy you can give a small business is simply **communication.** If your plans change, you've decided not to book, or you found another photographer, that's okay! A quick message letting us know is always appreciated.
We understand that not every inquiry turns into a booking. That's part of business! ❤️
What isn't appreciated is having a photographer spend hours planning, communicating, and preparing for a potential session, only to be ghosted or have their time repeatedly wasted.
You don't have to book with me — just please respect my time the same way I respect yours. 🫶🏻
Thank you to everyone who supports small photography businesses and understands the time and effort that goes on behind the scenes. 📸🤍
