It is rare to see a backyard like this in Vegas. Real grass, a mature lemon, fig, and olive tree. I felt like I was somewhere back southeast.

Mom booked this session just for her kids. She wanted to capture their innocence. I toured the backyard ahead of time and my creative heart was full of ideas. The yard and the evening light were a chef’s kiss. Took my breath away! 🤩

Summer sessions are open.

July and August both have availability, and yes, we can make it work even in the Las Vegas heat!

We can head up to Lee or Kyle Canyon where it actually feels like summer should feel. Cooler air, tall trees, golden light. Or we stay home, where your kids are relaxed, the light comes through your windows, and it feels less like a photoshoot and more like a slow morning together.

Pick what feels right for your family and tap the link in my bio to get in touch.

Most families don’t immediately think to book an in-home session. They most times picture somewhere scenic at golden hour.

And yes, those are so beautiful! But there’s something about home session I wanna chat about.

The morning light through your windows. The couch everyone piles on. The backyard your kids have memorized with their feet. The dining table that hosts meals and game nights and homework and all of it. Mom and dad’s bed that is always voted to coziest bed in the house. The kitchen where meals are prepared together. The home that all the memories hold during all the milestones together.

Those are the photos that wreck you in the best way 10 years from now. Seriously!

If you’ve never considered an in-home session, consider this your sign. Link in bio. I’d love to work with you! 🫶🏻

Sharing an extended family the day my in-laws are flying in felt fitting.

The sweetest crew! After a few reschedules due to crappy weather and then someone being sick, we finally made it happen and it was perfect! Sometimes things are just meant to be. ❤️

I’ve been shooting a lot up the mountain lately and it’s for good reason. The spring brought on the lush greens and the temps are still so refreshing up there.

Booking mountain sessions now for July and August.

Every location I shoot at was chosen with purpose.

The light, the space, the way it feels when a family is moving through it. I have removed spots that no longer serve my work and I only keep the ones I know will make your session shine.

You don’t need to research locations. I have a curated guide for that. Unless there’s somewhere special to your family, in which case let’s talk.

School alarm officially silenced. Although my 5:30am internal alarm didn’t get the memo. At least I’m not dragging cranky kids out of bed anymore. Yay for natural wakes.

Also, a reminder that summer sessions are totally doable here. Knowing the right spots and the right time of day makes all the difference. Cool air, a breeze, that golden light. Las Vegas has pockets that feel like a whole different place.

I gotchu.

The number one thing I hear from moms before a session is “my husband hates photos” or “he feels awkward at sessions.” Sometimes this is said before booking and sometimes in their questionnaire.

Here’s what I know after years of doing this, thought. Dads don’t hate photos. Men hate feeling awkward in any situation and not knowing what to do. Honestly, who doesn’t?

I grew up with guys and with that I understand how they think. I can read the room before the awkward even hits. With dads, with kids, and definitely with moms.

Instead of a session full of the pose and smile at me shots, I give a prompt, some direction, and step back to let them fall into a more natural state of just being with one another in that moment. It’s when the real and good stuff happens. The stuff you see all over my feed.

If this sounds like your fam, let’s talk. Link in bio.

Pinecone collecting was the name of the game for this sweet girl. She was obsessed and pretty sure she left with her little backpack full of them. She was so excited and zoned in with her surroundings. Watching the baby geese and throwing rocks in the water.

When you are a Vegas baby and are so used to the norm of rocks and turf, of course a green park with so much to see is way cooler than anything else.
