God blessed me last week with the honor of meeting, witnessing & capturing a union that he brought together in his own perfect way. Mariah & Ayden, two people who met at The Well Church, got married under its same 4 walls on June 6th & we were invited into such an intimate setting of love and celebration. Iā€™m often reminded of how the Lord is constantly in every blessing that I receive and every wedding that I get welcomed into is truly such a blessing. It was so wonderful meeting their families, friends, and being able to photograph this part of their story.

To Mariah & Ayden - thank you for being the sweetest and most beautiful couple & soooo many prayers and blessings your way for a continually unified and strong marriage ahead of you šŸ¤

This is the reason you invest in THE photographer because they know exactly what it takes to get your Pinterest board shots in seconds due to their experience and craftsmanship.

When I got outside and places Mariah & Ayden in the spot that would have looked the most ā€œbeautifulā€ I immediately clocked that the sunā€™s position was going to ruin the shot and I moved them before even starting photos. Someone inexperienced would have realized it too late in post. We also had a limited time to take bridal portraits so it was a matter of minutes before we had to move on to the next grouping so we fired different poses back to back, being sure we got as many shots as possible in as little time as possible. Directing large groups and making sure everyone looks good and we moved quickly was also something that I learned throughout the years of photographing larger weddings.

You donā€™t want to compromise your wedding photos as a bride, even if all you want is ā€œjust a few shotsā€ a professional high end photographer can truly make the most out of your day without needing it to be a whole photoshoot. These are the memories you get to bring with you when the day is over & you should look at your photos with confidence that it was everything you wanted and more šŸ¤

This vintage little corner in Las Vegas has been home to soooo many nostalgic photos and weddings but today Iā€™m sharing with you guys what it looks like in real life and how I would photograph it!!! āœØ

I have so much love for my city & all that it has to offer and the corner of Sure Thing has always been one of my favorite spots to shoot at for these reasons. Vegas has so many beautiful locations and corners so let me know if you guys loved this and Iā€™d love to share more little tours with you!

Guys Iā€™ve been posting every single day for the past 2 months now and itā€™s lead me to meet sooooo many beautiful new faces and people!!!! Itā€™s crazy what putting in the hard work will do, but also, how much Iā€™ve learned in these past few weeks.

Posting content to me has never been about gaining followers or making more money - itā€™s been about reaching more people like Iā€™ve always aimed to do. For more people to learn about me, the testimony of my business & to see how God is the God of the impossible. 5 kids, 25 years old, parentless upbringingā€¦ into where we are nowā€¦ itā€™s a story Iā€™ll never get tired of sharing šŸ«¶šŸ¼

It took me so many years to finally find out what clients needed in their wedding planning process to feel safe with booking a photographer. I always offer discovery calls to clients even before they sign or pay anything to show them that not only will I be the most hardworking option for them, but the one that will be the most present, flexible & personal. This is just a small example of a discovery call that I had with a client with a $4k - $7k budget for wedding photography but wanted to talk about it first. I always try to show just a glimpse of my value through these calls and I pray clients will see the worth of them and know how seriously I take every wedding & couple šŸ’™

Devine & Andre - what an amazinnnnng time it was to witness you both get married and see all the details come to life! From our initial engagement shoot where Devine made me the cutest custom bag and keychain (which I still use to this day by the way) to last month where we ran around the city and captured their wedding at sure thing - I couldnā€™t have asked for a better couple. Thank you so much for everything you guys have done for me and healed within me šŸ„¹ your families are just the sweetest people ever and I just love and adore you both so much.

Wedding photography does not have to be all a one sided thing. These questionnaires have really shaped my entire experience for brides because every single wedding is so different with its unique needs. Iā€™ve never been the type to be offended if you have a certain look youā€™d like to go for, a certain editing style you love, constructive feedback so that I can make YOUR dream photos more of a dream FOR YOU. Weddings shouldnā€™t ever be about me, the photographer, but itā€™s about serving you on the biggest day of your lives.

So many people have beef with the wddding industry right now and i honestly understand why because there are hidden scams that they get vulnerable brides with. I could go on about this topic and what Iā€™ve witnessed as a photographer that is ā€œfor the brideā€ and itā€™s not pretty. Hundreds and thousands of dollars getting taken out of your hands because you didnā€™t know betterā€¦ well now you do!!!
