I only take on 20-25 couples a year, and I am incredibly selective about who I work with and here’s why.

This isn’t for everyone, and honestly, that’s the point. I’m not here to be the photographer for every couple who gets engaged. I’m here for the ones who were never really “wedding people” to begin with.

The ones who already live for the outdoors. Who care more about how the day feels than how it looks on paper. Who understand that years from now, the photos are the only thing left from that day and they want them to actually mean something.

“Gravity can’t hold us down, so just take me there, to higher ground.”

After spending nearly a year chatting with Ian and Melissa and planning this day together, finally getting to witness it all come to life felt pretty UNREAL.

These two are the definition of living life to the fullest. They’re always chasing new experiences, finding adventure, and romanticizing the everyday. So of course their wedding day wasn’t going to be anything ordinary!!!

From the moment the day began, their energy was contagious. The kind of energy that makes everyone around them smile a little bigger and laugh a little harder. Somewhere along the way, Melissa even got me hooked on saying “You got it, dude!” (from full house) and I don’t think there’s any going back now. 🤣

This is only part one because there are simply too many good moments not to share. More of their Zion adventure coming soon. ✨

These two are now my besties for life and they know there’s no getting rid of ME! 🫶🏻

“Those dreams aren’t as silly as they seem.”

There was a point in my life where I realized I couldn’t keep forcing myself into a version of success that didn’t feel like me. So I left my 9-5 job and chased something creative instead. At the time, it all happened pretty unexpectedly, but looking back now, it feels a lot like a blessing in disguise.

The outdoors became a place of healing for me. It gave me space to slow down, breathe, and reconnect with myself in a way nothing else really could.

Somewhere along the way, photography stopped being just a “hobby” and started feeling like purpose.

I think that’s part of why I connect so deeply with the couples I work with. In a lot of ways, we’re doing the same thing. I stepped away from the traditional path to build a life that felt more meaningful to me, and my couples are often doing the same when they choose an elopement or an intentional wedding experience over what’s simply expected of them.

And honestly, I think there’s something really beautiful about that.

Maybe those dreams aren’t silly after all.

This app has been responsible for some of my fondest friendships. (You know.. the way this app used to be!)
hikes.utah was one of my first friends I made on this app. We met up several times over the years traveling, hiking, lots of girls trips. Amanda is such a unique soul and has always had that zeal to live an incredible life.

What an honor it was to be able to capture this epic elopement for her and !

This was definitely one of the windiest days I have ever shot in. But I will never forget as soon as we started the ceremony, the winds calmed and the sun peeked through the clouds. It was like the heavens were blessing their union and we all were in awe! ✨

Their wild elopement day is a reminder that challenging weather often creates the most unique, unforgettable moments. Don’t forget to embrace the elements, and let them tell your story! ⚡️ 🌧️📸
