I am begging for SNOW! Please tell me I’m not the only one??

Looking through winter elopements today and feeling so nostalgic for this beautiful day with Michaiah and Ryan. A tiny Wyoming village covered in snow, afternoon sunlight through the cottonwoods, and vows in a historic chapel with their 10 closest family members. Perfection.

It’s dark at 4pm and cold af so I’m pining for wildflower meadows and picnics in the Snowies!

I loved getting to photograph Riley and Dirks engagements at sunrise this summer. It isn’t easy to get up early enough to meet the sun as it hits the top of Medicine Bow, but boy is it worth it!

I’m BaAack!!
And I have news…
Since taking a “social media hiatus” almost three years ago:
💍 I got engaged!
🐶That golden puppy got HUGE
☕️I opened a second business (what a roller coaster!)
📷 I got to photograph some AMAZING weddings and elopements all over Wyoming and Colorado.

And im really excited to be hopping back into this account and community with all of you. Wedding photography is truly my dream job and now, as I’m planning my own wedding, i’m going through my work from recent years and appreciating weddings with new eyes.

Tonight I sat down to reflect on 2023. I looked through the galleries we delivered to clients last year… and it was OVERWHELMING. Haha. looking back and I’m overwhelmed with gratitude and love for my fantastic clients last year. There are so many photos I never got a chance to share, so many people I got to know and adore!

January through April are always a time of rest and reflection for me (oh and taxes of course) but i’m already looking forward to all the fun in store for Summer 2024!!

I have just a few openings left for weekend weddings this summer, so please reach out ASAP to reserve your date. I cannot wait to hear from you!

Oh how I love elopements!! Laid back, beautiful scenery, sometimes there's family and friends around, and sometimes it's just the three of us.
Sometimes I get to officiate, and sometimes I just photograph, but either way these events are short and sweet and full of joy. I have loved getting to help plan and photograph elopements and intimate weddings here in Wyoming and I cannot wait for next summer!
Bianca and Garret's simple summer elopement in Wyoming was the perfect example. This pair travelled to Wyoming with their immediate family from upstate NY to wed under Southeastern Wyoming's Medicine Bow peak.

The internet is alight with folks talking about how often men think about the roman empire.
For me, I too-often think about rock tumblers. I think about the tumbler I had as a kid, how it tumbled and rumbled in the basement closet for months… never producing a polished rock. I wonder if I should get one now and try again. I wonder if I’m like those tumbling rocks. If life’s pressures, challenges, and tumbles are making me shinier and if so, how much more tumbling is left for me.
Do I get to be a pretty shiny rock on a shelf someday?
Am I one already?
Has my tumbling just begun?
Is everyone around me tumbling also?
It’s a beautiful thing to find someone who wants to tumble along side you. A partner who agrees to show you their rough edges and sparkling interiors, and who makes it safe for you to show yours, all while together you set to polishing and tumbling, polishing and tumbling.

ANYWAY, these photos are from Scott and Sheri’s elopement earlier this summer at Lake Marie in Medicine Bow National Forest. I loved getting to document these sweet joy-filled moments with Sheri and Scott and their chlidren. I wonder what one of those sparkling granite rocks from Lake Marie would look like after being tumbled?

Mini sessions take place at our predetermined location with fall colors near Laramie, WY. These are perfect for groups of 5 or fewer, simple senior sessions, minimalistic engagements, maternity, headshots, family portraits, pets, Christmas cards, etc! Short and sweet, these also work well for families with toddlers who may have shorter attention spans.

In case of bad weather, sessions will be moved to Sunday October 8th at the same time and place.
*Please reserve both dates in your calendar as WY weather is temperamental and no refunds will be given*

Things are usually pretty chaotic the morning of a wedding. Hair, makeup, decor, people, meals, clothes, accessories, flowers, pets, vendors, vehicles…. there are SO MANY moving pieces and SO MANY questions. No matter how much planning and prep you do before you say “I Do” the morning-of always has a little bit of chaos, but there’s also love, excitement, and friendship, and I just love finding the beauty in these little in between moments. Let me tell you, having a planner and coordinator (Like ) makes a huge difference! I just love these sweet moments from Anne and Andrew's wedding this summer at the Westin in Downtown Denver. 💕
