Had the sweetest honor yesterday — getting to photograph my big brother and future sister-in-law’s engagement photos in one of my favorite places, Gettysburg. 🤍

There’s something so surreal about photographing your own brother with the person he’s going to marry. Vince has always been such a huge part of my life, and seeing him this happy makes my heart so full. And Savanna… I truly couldn’t have asked for a sweeter person to be joining our family.

Getting to capture this little chapter of their story was incredibly special, and I’m so grateful I got to be the one behind the camera for it.

So unbelievably happy for you both. 🤍

Now excuse me while I try to emotionally prepare myself for December. 🥹

Before the aisle. Before the vows. Before the ch*****ne. 🤍

There’s a whole part of a wedding day that happens in the quiet.

The dress hanging untouched.
The room before everyone arrives.
The details that took months to choose.
That little stretch of time when everything is ready… and the day hasn’t quite begun yet.

Those are some of my favorite photographs to make.

Because wedding photography isn’t only about documenting the big moments. It’s about noticing all the little ones that make the day yours — the things you may not even realize you’ll want to remember until years later.

If Landon + Karissa’s wedding day were a movie, this would be the part where the music swells. ✨

The vows. The laughter. The quiet looks when no one else mattered. The celebrating. And somewhere in the middle of it all—

they became husband + wife. 🤍

With The Mill at Manor Falls as the backdrop, their day had all the big moments you’d expect…

but it was the little ones in between that made it theirs.

The glances across the room. The can’t-stop-smiling kind of happiness. The laughter that didn’t need prompting. The hugs that lasted a little longer. The tiny seconds that probably felt ordinary while they were happening—but someday will mean everything.

Landon + Karissa, officially husband + wife. 🥂

This is their wedding day.

And this is only the beginning. ✨

Well… hi. It’s been a minute. 🤍

I haven’t posted here since December, so naturally my first post back is going to be a completely normal, casual little post and definitely not a small novel about where I’ve been. 😅

But in the spirit of oversharing just a tiny bit, I figured I’d be honest about why things have been so quiet around here.

I made the decision to take most of 2026 off from photography.

The truth is, there’s SO much more to running a photography business than being behind the camera. The constant pressure to post, market, book, edit, create content and stay visible—all during evenings and weekends while maintaining a “normal” 8–5—started taking a lot of the joy out of why I started doing this in the first place.

And constantly putting yourself and your work out there, hoping the next inquiry will come along, can be discouraging when things are quieter than you hoped.

So I gave myself permission to stop chasing it for a while.

Not because I stopped loving photography or appreciating the amazing people who have trusted me with their memories. 🤍

I just needed some space to miss it again.

And apparently…it worked. 📸

Because next weekend, I get to dust off the cameras, charge approximately 47 batteries 😅, pack entirely too much gear, test out a new second camera, and celebrate Karissa + Landon as they become husband and wife. 💍

And I am SO ready.

I’ve missed the anticipation of a wedding day, the little in-between moments, the happy chaos, the tiny details, the dance floor—and getting to preserve it all.

Then in September, I have one more VERY special reason to pick up my camera—my big brother and my future new sister’s engagement session. 🥹🤍 Getting to photograph this chapter for two people I love is something I’m incredibly excited about.

After that, it’s back to my photography sabbatical through the end of the year.

This isn’t quite my official “I’m back” post yet…

But 2027? I’m coming for you. ✨

For now, I’m just really happy that picking up my camera feels exciting again.

But first…

2025 brought me the most incredible clients and stories here in Lancaster, PA — engagements, couples, maternity, families, proposals, and weddings that filled my calendar and my heart.

My girl needed her picture taken for a client's 2026 calendar, so I took advantage and got her by the tree too. 🤭🥹🤗🥰

This song by was one of my favorites growing up, and still is - NOSTALGIC!! I'm all about nostalgia. Winter's name is also Winter BEAR so just felt right combining these pictures with that song. Winter Bear the Christmas Bear 💚❤️ my girl.
