I like to have a lot going on in my photos, especially when I'm flying my drone and can see so much. So minimalism is hard for me and I'm very impressed by photographers that can pull it off so well. However, this photo, while questionably minimalistic, is much simpler than my usual compositions. Hoping to challenge myself more and get better.

Always a blast shooting race photos for Canalway Partners! I've been doing this for a long time now and have a good workflow dialed in. So I decided to push myself and sneak in a drone photo while I was shooting on the ground. Even found the perfect tree to hide myself behind where I could get ground photos at the same time. Pretty happy with this one. Ground photos from the Towpath Twilight race coming soon.

So tempted to get a birding lens! This one ain't bad though. 500mm will have to do for now.
