WE’RE HIRING 🎞️

Lakeland Film Lab is looking for TWO part-time retail specialists to join our Downtown Lakeland team.

This role is perfect for someone who loves film photography, enjoys talking with people, and wants to be part of a creative community-centered space.

Responsibilities include:
• Taking in film lab orders
• Helping customers in-store
• Keeping the lab clean, organized, and running smoothly
• Assisting with day-to-day retail operations
• Being part of the overall experience that makes the lab feel welcoming

What we’re looking for:
• Friendly and reliable
• Organized and detail-oriented
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• Interest in film photography is a huge plus

This is a part-time position at our Lakeland location.

🦩🌴 Lakeland is coming to St. Pete 🎞️☕🖤

We’re opening our second location, and we couldn’t be more excited to bring Lakeland Film Lab to St. Petersburg.

We couldn’t be more thankful for the community and family we’ve built in Lakeland, and we want to bring that same feeling to St. Pete. We heard you, and we listened.

Our new space will feature:
📸 Camera rentals
🖤 A community darkroom
📸 A brand new photobooth designed specifically for St. Pete
☕ Semi-permanent 3–4 month pop-ups inside the lab from your favorite coffee, matcha, and boba carts/trucks

Heads up — Lakeland Film Lab will be closed Monday for Memorial Day 🇺🇸

We also wanted to give everyone a quick turnaround update. We’ve had a huge influx of film processing orders come through recently (seriously… thank you), so current turnaround times are running about 1–2 days behind our normal estimate.

Our small team is working as fast as we can to get everything processed, scanned, and delivered without compromising quality. We appreciate all of the patience and support more than you know.

We’ll be back at it Tuesday morning. ❤️

What a year… and what a party.

Yesterday was everything we hoped for and more. The turnout, the energy, seeing so many familiar faces (and new ones too) — it meant a lot to us.

We just want to say thank you. Truly. Every roll you’ve trusted us with, every visit, every conversation in the shop… that’s what built this.

Lakeland Film Lab exists because of you.
